How to go to higher levels fast ?

I have more than 200 points but still i am stuck in level 1 , can any one give me tips to reach higher levels fast ?

Merely reaching a higher level fast doesnt achieve anything, as YA is not a competitive sport. Points are only to let you know where you stand and dont mean anything except that the higher the level you reach, the more the options you have in asking questions, giving comments, etc.
Try the following to get more points.
Keep answering more and asking less, to start with. Set a target of points to reach before you start using them for asking questions.
If you have to ask a question, research YA for questions similar to yours that may have been asked, and read the answers. A lot of people repeat the same question without bothering to find out if their question was asked earlier.
Try to answer questions on topics in which you are knowledgeable, so that your answers can be convincing, and stand better chances of earning 10 points.
Answer questions after giving full thought and give clear and complete answers. This helps in getting your answer selected as the best, earning 10 points. Acknowledge any sources for your answers, without hesitation, as you are using someone else's work.
Read the answers of others where you feel your answer was good (whether selected as the best or not), learn something new. Verify if some of the points made in others' answers are correct, by referrring to reliable literature. This not only gives you confidence in yourself, but also helps in giving better answers to the same or similar questions in future.
Periodically go to the questions that need to be voted, particularly those that have been on a tiebraker. You would get 1 point for each vote you cast.
If you have asked a question, you will have a time limit for selecting the best answer. Select the best answer honestly and within the time limit specified, so that you get 3 points for selecting a best answer for your question.
Keep a note of your favorite questions and answers, where you know that these would be repeated in future. You can then refer to these and attempt answers in as complete a manner as possible.
If you need clarification from a person on a question or answer, write to him/her on his e mail on YA. (You need to give your e mail too in your profile, for this purpose.) Some people do reply, and you learn more. However, not all people would like to receive e mails on their YA assumed names! If you receive e mails on YA, then you have to reply to them too, to be fair.
Log in at least once per day to YA so that you get 1 point per day of log in.
Above all, always be honest and sincere in your questions and answers. Avoid giving answers just to earn 2 points for each answer, as many people do. If you earn points with proper care and truthfully, you will find that you would accumulate points fairly fast.
