I think, I have hurt my tailbone. I have trouble sitting very long, sleeping on any side or on my back. When I lift my legs I get a sharp pain like I hit a nerve. My tailbone area looks a little swollen. Is it something that will go away?

No one here can help you with your pain or find answers for it, everyone will tell you to go see a doctor. This is what the doctor will do, he/she will touch the area where it hurts and ask you about your symptons, then he will ask you about the history of your pain. Then he will take an x-ray and from that the doctor will determine whats excatly wrong with you. Just hope and pray it can be resloved without an operation. Good Luck and be safe

I would get to a chiropractor rather than a regular doctor.
