First off....
they do
second...I'm one of them, I played football from when i was in elementary all the way up through freshmen year because i wanted to.
I go ATVing all the time, i am extremely competitive, and i love sports and being active... i make it my life.
If you actually educate yourself about the GLBTQ community you'll see that gay people are EXTREMELY diverse, and to this day i am still shocked sometimes to see who really is gay, as you would be too!
i dated the captain of the football team
and we made amazing masculine love......
and you say "gays" like they are some different type of being
they are your friend
your uncle
your brother
your father
your teacher
your neighbor
its not like gay people wear a certain color
its just a fact that people are more likely to notice gay people who tend to be more feminine, not the captain of the football team, or a masculine guy that doesn't do anything that you associate with gayness
P.S. It's not an "us" thing as in "lots of us do"
I am gay.... but i have NO IDEA what its like to BE gay....
i dont know what others go through....
i am totally different from the other "gay" kids at my school
i dont know what it feels like for people in other cities nations rooms...
no one does
we are human, but common we have no idea what its like to be a human for someone else

What a silly question! Plenty of gays ride motorbikes and play football. Ian Roberts played Rugby League for Australia even after he had come out as being gay.

That would be like asking why heterosexual men don't cook or do laundry.Obviously heterosexual men do laundry and cook.At least some do, if not most.Neither sexuality nor gender dictates what a person is willing to do or able to do and the only gender specific activities in life are gender specific because we deem them to be so.Who says that all males must play football or ride motorcycles?What about women who do those activities?
Apparently, by the wording of this question, the asker assumes based on stereotypes that gay men don't ride motorcycles or play football because they are gay.Gay men have an entire culture of motorcycle gangs and leather clubs and gay men and lesbian women have sport teams that range from football to tennis to basketball to soccer.So, your assumptions and stereotypes are based on a lack of correct information about the nature of the GLBT community and that is based on one word- ignorance.

You need to get out more!!! Not trying to b funny or disrespectful but if women watch football b-cuz of the "butts", then why wouldn't "gays" (as u put it) PLAY football and they get to slap the butts.

I think you do not know many gays, otherwise you will not ask such a stupid question.
The gays who do not ride bike or play football, don't do it for the same reasons that many straight men don't do it. (Most probably in the same percentage as well)

I'm gay and I loooovvvveeee football ... I get season tickets every year. And it just so happens that I bought a 2006 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14 last spring. So, don't come in here and think you know it all .... ya schmuck !

I actually thought all bikers and football players were pretty gay. Think about it. A lot of gays dress up in biker gear and go guy hunting, or at least tv and movies would make one perceive so. As for athletes, namely football player, don't they always shower together and pat each other on the butt (like saying good job!)? In my opinion that's pretty gay. Anything having to with rolling around in the dirt with a bunch of guys wearing spandex screams gay. Same goes for wearing leather and riding a HOG that send vibration up your butt, tickling your prostate, giving you a SWOLE-ON....
