In this age of terrorism and war should people give up more of their liberty to be safe from terrorist?

well if you give up your liberty then you are essentially giving up your freedom.

No.. absolutely not

We are safe from terrorist. If you look at the big scheeme of things terrorist are not a huge threat, not as much as driving in your car, eating fried foods, cancer, etc....

So why give up freedom? then you are just letting them win.

Kind of caught between a rock and a hard place question is it not? If you give up to much of your liberty you automatically lose your freedom. If you do not safeguard your freedom at all, you will soon lose your liberty too. Trying to find the perfect blend is impossible when trying to please 300 million + people. To those few who really believe there is no danger to our freedom from the outside, well I have some ocean front property in Arizona!
