a good notebook computer that i would suggest is a compaq, i woudn't noe abt the exact model but i am sure it has good quality, affordable, less expensive and 12 - 14" screen. Lightweight i am not sure wat u mean but the compaq has a weight of around 1 kg. A notebook computer store is the Harvey Norman, Officeworks, or some asian computer store. Minimum features u should look for, Win XP Pro, +256MB of RAM, +60GB hard drive, +64MB of VGA, +1.5GHZ Intel (any model is fine), 1yr warrenty, these features are less expensive, but i would recommend a Win XP Pro, +512MB of RAM, +80GB hard drive, +128MB VGA (nVidia), +1.7GHZ Intel centrino, 2yr warrenty.
