I'm an 18 year old male who is 5"4 and weighs 135 lbs. My parents are relatively average for their genders dad 5"10 mom 5"6...why am I not growing?! I eat healthy work out alot,should I be worried?I could understand if short stature was common in my family then it would be pretty explainable but everyone is average height.Will i still grow...please! I need help

Hmmm . . . it's possible that you took after your mom's side, or that you have some sort of allergy that prevents proper absorption of nutrients. And if you had a habit of staying up very late at night when you were younger, I think that can stunt your growth a bit. I wish I could help you more than that, but you really need to see a doctor. You might grow . . . but you still need to see a doctor to find out. Try not to worry about it. You aren't the only short guy out there. Good luck!


Oh yes . . . you can take after your grandparents as well. If they're short, then there you go. But still see a doctor to see if it's normal.

sometimes height can go on our grandparents too!
you should get a clearance for thyroid done and did u have typhoid as a kid?...this smtimes takes a toll on height!
but dont stress....good things come in small packages...its not wots on the outside but whats on the inside which matters!...all the best to u dear...
