I keep hearing 'Paula Abdul' this 'Paula Abdul' that. Who is she and what's with her? I see her name in all these celebrity blogs and news about being whacko. I could easily google her but I want people to tell me :) Thank you.

Facts about Paula Abdul - This is off the top of my head and not from any website, but from my memory.
Paula Abdul got her start as a Laker Girl for the LA Lakers. From there she became the choreographer. After becoming a choreographer she moved into music. in the 1980's she had several Pop hits including "Cold Hearted Snake," and "Forever Your Girl."
Paula Abdul married Emilio Estevez who is Charlie Sheen's brother and a member of the Brat Pack. Estevez starred in The Breakfast Club, St. Elmo's Fire and other movies. Paula and Emilio later divorced.
Paula faded into the background for most of the 1990's until she became a judge on American Idol.

She started out as an L.A. Laker cheerleader in the 80s, became a dance choreographer for Janet Jackson (and actually had a cameo in her What Have You Done For Me Lately video sitting in a movie theater) she then began her own singing career which she had most of her "hits" -if you want to call them that- in the 90s and is now one of the judges on American Idol and also a spokesperson for eating disorders, as she had one herself.

yes, you could google her, but it's probably not worth the time (or you would have already). it's not really worth my time to answer, but here's the five-second version anyway: paula abdul is a judge on american idol who has been much criticized for being a bit insane in her commentary and actions on and off the show (though overall she's the "nice" one). before that, she was a pop singer and dancer (and, I think, choreographer) in the late '80s / early '90s (she had the video on mtv where she danced with the cartoon cat)

Paula abdul is the woman who is on this reality show called ''american idol'' She is one of the judges, you know that lady and that used to date one of her contestants from the show. That was a big controversy but i don't want to get all into that.

Yes, she is. I hope the show would still be great without her. The judges need to step up their game now because with Paula's gone they have to win back the viewers. Now, Simon has no one to backs him up and no one for him to play with.
