Yes this is a crime, even if both of the girls are underaged. Molestation is a crime that can be committed and tried in the juvenile court system. In most cases they will recieve a minor jail sentance and required psychiatric counseling. In extreme cases, or cases in which the offender is near legal age they can be tried as an adult. It is my opinion that this will usually not happen unless the victim was repeatedly abused or raped during the course of the crime.

The court will however look at this case in a unique way. If both girls dispite being underaged committed the act consensually it will prove a difficult case and may result in no action save a restraining order.

I hope my answer finds you and your family well,

Yes it does constitute a very serious crime. I have dealt with many incidents similar to this one in my profession. More often than not, nothing will happen with the case in court though. However if the girl that was molested and her family file charges and can prove the incident happened then there is a greater chance of justice prevailing. Please give more information as to the circumstances. I would love to help out.

Hi there... I guess it is a crime, but if the judge was rather compassionate, and did his homework, he would have excused the molester because she took too many sleeping pills. But then again, she shouldn't have taken too many sleeping pills either... So, I guess the entire court case depends on the judge and jury. Hope I helped... Good Luck!!

Under Sec 354 Cap 224, Whoever assaults or uses criminal force to any person, intending to outrage or knowing it to be likely that he will thereby outrage the modesty of that person, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 2 years, or with fine, or with caning, or with any two of such punishments.

Here "any person" can be male or female. Thus, a teenage girl modest another same age girl is chargeable under this section.

I think you mean rape, molestation kinda requires an age difference, but any form of sexual abuse is always a crime.
