Okay, I know someone that was crazy enough to do Cocaine and i know it isnt good for you. Well, She had also the following night drank a few beers and was doing that on top of it and i mean i was told she done 5 - 6 big lines but i dont know crap about it so thats why imn asking for serious help. She was also i was told doing something called Loritab 10's..I only know about those cause i was prescribed them for a broken ankle. But would 2-3 days no sleep and pills, cocaine, and about 5 beers make someone have a seizure? What happined was she stood up aginst a wall straight up and staired into space for about 1 min then started shaking and fell to the ground, I was told her mouth shut automaticly so she bite her tongue and jaw. she told me she would go to the doctor the next day when i seen her but she hasnt yet, Do you think all those nasty drugs would harm someone to have a seizure? Please only serious answers and also should she go to the hospital? She is acting perfectly fine now

Yes, all that could result in a seizure. But it's obvious your friend doesn't care what happens to her, so hopefully the next one will be life-threatening. Maybe then she'll get a wake-up call and stop doing ignorant crap like that.

First off, your friend is slowly killing herself with all of the drugs she is taking. If she is not careful she could end up in jail or in the morgue... neither place is fun.
I found this from drugs.com for cocaine:
"Excessive doses of cocaine may lead to "seizures" and death from respiratory failure, stroke, cerebral hemorrhage, or heart failure. There is no specific antidote for cocaine overdose.
When people mix cocaine and alcohol consumption, they are compounding the danger each drug poses and unknowingly forming a complex chemical experiment within their bodies. Researchers have found that the human liver combines cocaine and alcohol and manufactures a third substance, cocaethylene, which intensifies cocaine’s euphoric effects, while possibly increasing the risk of sudden death."
Then when looking up Lortab from the same source:
"What are the possible side effects of acetaminophen and hydrocodone?
• Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
• Call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects:
· shallow breathing, slow heartbeat;
** · seizure (convulsions); **
· cold, clammy skin;
· confusion;
· severe weakness or dizziness; or
· feeling light-headed, fainting. "
You will notice that both cocaince and Lortab have listed seizures as possible side effects. Your friend needs to see a doctor and really needs to get into a drug rehab before she continues down the slippery slope of recreational drug use. The combination she used is a deadly mixture. She was lucky...this time. Next time, she might not be.

I am not a doctor but I am a nurse. The medication could have something to do with the seizure. She NEEDS to go see a doctor about the seizure very soon. It could happen again when she is driving or by herself and then there will be no one to help her. She could really hurt herself or even worse someone else. There is medication that she can go on to prevent seizures.

I am no doctor, I do not know if what happened was a siezure but she really should go to the hospital and have an examination, and might I suggest forcing her into rehab?! She obviously has a drug problem. She could kill herself with all that crap she is taking. Once again, take her to a hospital, if she won't go on her own, force her (ie call the cops and have them take her). This is not something to be taken lightly. Hospital visit and forced rehab if she doesn't go willingly.

I wouldnt worry about that particular incident , though it sounds like she has done drugs before. You cant do much about it now just stay away from that stuff yourself and if your friend wants to put herself at risk thats her problem. Mixing pills and alchohol isnt the best for seizures or function of the nervous system.

Its a miracle she is alive and OK. Sounds like she did have a seizure. She has a serious problem and need professional help. Next time she does this it could result in death. If your really care about her talk her in to getting help before its to late.

Yes go to the hospital. God forbid something serious happens to her and you didn't get help! And get her into a rehab after she gets out of the hospital, coke is a nasty, very unhealthy, expensive habit. I have seen many many friends get hurt and hurt others so much from using this drug!

Why is she concerned at all about a possible seizure when she is doing much worse to herself intentionally?? I just don`t understand.
