Does any one have a solid evidence on this claim?

There is obviously material in various stages of digestion traveling through the system; it gets eliminated from time to time. There is seldom any reason to try to facilitate or interfere with this process; nature does quite a good job all by itself. The notion of "colon cleansing" is pure hokum and totally useless.

You do usually have some feces in your colon (as would be expected), but it doesn't build up or get "stashed" there for long periods of time. Older stuff is pushed out by newer stuff (in addition to peristalsis).

And even if you did have feces in your colon that didn't leave, it wouldn't hurt you and removing it would not improve your health (unless you have an obstruction, in which case you're going to need a doctor and your issues are serious enough that you would KNOW IT). Bacteria in your colon are natural and healthy, and not having them would hurt you.

Just ask a doctor who has performed intestinal surgeries, or doctors who've dealt with appendix removals and appendix bursts. I'm sure they have a better idea than anyone on here. I wouldn't doubt it though. I once saw a video of a vet doing a surgery on a horse's intestines. Couldn't watch after the first incision when all the stuff started gushing out. (gag. I don't even want to think about that)

Probably have food sorting itself out in there all over the place. So what. Been doing that since we first walked the earth.

A friend of mine went for these high colonics for a year. Did it help - can't tell, but she was certainly preoccupied with it and spent a fortune. Not to mention trying to convince her friends to do so as well.

I let nature take care of it.

Have you looked it up anywhere??? Of course it is true, for most people, that is why parasites are in there too. That is also why bowel cleanses are good. Did you know Elvis died on the toliet from an obstructed colon?

Simply put, YES! Most people have such poor diet that all sorts of stuff lurks around in there going nowhere and causing all sorts of problems.

I just answered a similar question (here http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AvIFY5sI.7O7EWxOJstj4Gnzy6IX?qid=20070116001002AAgm92M) concerning bowel cleansing, hopefully that will help.

I am an embalmer, and part of the procedure I do is to -- shall we say "clean people out" and yes, you do have a lot of poo still in you.
