Sure, why not? It would be very interesting, hell I might even move to Texas.

You miss the whole point of Constitutional Republicanism, which this country IS, not a "Democracy."
In other words, it is supposed to be its own state, that's how it got started before the Socialists took over.
It's just part of the USA, as all the states are supposed to be.
But now you pay more federal tax money for more federal police state control over you than you do your local taxes.
I think the whole country should revolt.
Like they're SUPPOSED to do, every four years.
That's why the enemy can't keep a bead on us, because we're SUPPOSED to change governments, intentions, and directions, EVERY FOUR YEARS.
Check out your US Constitution for more info..

My Dad was Texan, but not typical because he left and never came back.
He joked that Texans think there is no one else but Texans.
I guess because it's a large state.
But it's second to Alaska which is THE largest state.

I moved to Texas from Chicago and believe that it would be a very good idea. This state is filled with the most ignorant people I have ever met. Plus, it's a Red state.

Does the phrase "One nation, under God, indivisable" mean anything to you?
The phrase was added to the Pledge of Allegiance after the Civil War.
Anyone who tries to violate the pledge is unpatriotic.
However, if Texas promises to keep Bush within its borders for the rest of his life, I'm for it!
