I use to be a simple gal who loves everyone and smile always. After an incident happened to me last year made me having a serious negative protection.

I refuse to talk to others even give expression. I feel that if i start to talk and get close with human, they will hurt me. It was too pain to try it on. I did get advice from doctor, my condition is better and better.

How can i overcome this condition to think positive always?

Well depending on your situation you may have to work through alot of repressed memories that may be making you think and act the way that you do. It is a transition that we all have to make in order to learn to deal with the things that bother us. I suggest you continue seeing your doctor, and if this doctor isn't a counsellor or therapist why don't you go and speak to one? There is often many things inside of us that we are unaware of, and the road to healing begins with becoming aware of all these repressed feelings that hold us back and make us act in ways that we don't want to, or don't understand.

You're talking about a learned response. "If I get close to another human, that human will hurt me." The way to work through these things is to first recognize the behavior or response you need to work on. The second step is to unlearn the learned behavior or response and the third step is to learn a healthier behavior or response. "That particular human hurt me, but only a few people are like that particular human. There are plenty of other humans who won't hurt me."

Another thing you can do is desensitize yourself to what's scaring you. Write out a list (as long as you want it, but not so long that you'll be discouraged) of things to expose yourself to. Maybe the first step is an email or a chat on an Instant Messenger (Yahoo or GoogleTalk or something). Maybe the next step is just to say hello to one person while on an elevator or passing in the hall. You can go as slowly as you want to and increase your level of exposure however it is comfortable for you.

A good therapist can help you with these things and I recommend that too.

Best of luck!

i think its a trauma.. maybe before u do not have discipline in yourself ...that's why you're afraid to commit again the same thing or anything that will result negatively....well, we all know that nobody is perfect, everything has a reason why it happens...i could advice you that you should try to talk to other people.. it is also a way of theraphy to yourself ...overcoming your fear would make you a tough person in the end... it will help you to be aware of your personality as well.. Coz if you do not do anything about it,moreso, nothing will ever happen to you...try to exploRe what you have around you... bt of course you must know your restrictions.. i guess communication with others is very important, in this way you will know what you want to know etc.... bt when talking to strangers, you have to be alert and cautious all the time.... just walk by faith!

No one always thinks positive! Don't put so much pressure on yourself. You overcome this condition by continuing to work with your doctor. Please be very careful accepting advice on the internet, especially physical/emotional health issues. Sometimes the answers given will cause more harm than good, even though well intentioned. If your condition is getting better and better, it looks like you're on the right path to healing. Good luck to you.

i think u must concentrate on that incident why did it happen? If that incident happened to u only or any other person had suffered it. see in the world we come across a lots of people and when we r seeing only positive aspect of life we have no choice other than believe in that. Sometimes our closest friend cheat us or our dearest person go away from us etc. so u should not think that it happens to u only. OK . only think its a part of life may be u r so young that u cant understand. try to share with ur best friend. MAKE URSELF ACCORDING TO THE SITUATIONS AND NEVER TRY TO MAKE SITUATIONS ACCORDING TO U.

It is a psychological disorder but nothing to worry about. You need a strong will-power to overcome it. No one else in the world can help you on this unless you yourself do it.

You must also give a try to Yoga and meditation for relaxing your mind. You will see the positive results in just around a week's time.

So devastating, yet ending with a kind of saddened hope. Perhaps you do or do not know, in Greek the word for butterfly is the same word for soul. Nice work & very noble of you to create this tribute.

time and trust..persistence pays off..if you want to be your old self again, you will have to learn to relax and realize your actions and when they happen..understand that life is full of ups and downs..it can only get better if you want it to
