HOT FLASHES are horribly intense.. any solution or should i have a 2nd necessary?surgery - using laparoscopy to repair ovary and take ERT pills to stop menopause and HOTTTTT FLASHESSSSS??

I would start taking the pills. That is what they are for. They give your body the hormones that you are not making anymore. If you have no estrogen, you will experience hot flashes. You might try taking a soy suppliment and eat estrogen enriched foods, if you are leary of the pills. Don't have surgery, unless it is absolutely necessary.

I don't take HRT at all, nothing will happen. I refused to take HRT because all my medical plan will allow for is premarin and I won't use premarin because of what it is developed from.
