You can't get one from your employer. Try your tax office

Your not supposed to lose them! But your employer keeps a copy.

you don't, you only get one and if you lose it its tough. this happened to my friend, she needed one for a mortgage and cos she'd lost it she had to wait 8 months to get her new one
