I remembered looking for an eye liner that doesn't make one look like a racoon by the end of the day. So, I was looking at Maybeline liquid eyeliner and it says 'Waterproof', I went over to Bodyshop and was told by the sales girl that their liquid eyeliner isn't waterproof but instead it is 'water resistant'. Now, I'm confused...which one should I get?

okay the thing is water proof means its completely waterproof you can be under water or in water for HOURS and it would stay on. water resistent means it'll resist the watr for a lil while it wont rub off or run immediately when contacted with watr. it just means it'll resist fir a lil while. waterproof is so much better if you planning to swim or go to the beach or cry.

no eyeliner is sompletley water proof it just means it sticks to your lashes/skin more (which is bad because it can damage you eyelashes/skin because it may not completley come off for days, which creates bags) water resistant means it is more resistant to water than most liners but its not as sticky/clumpy/thick than "waterproof". i would defnitley go with the body shop one. and by the way may i ask if your a boy or a girl beacause your avator looks like a boy no offence lol. if so, are you emo? lol and why do you need water proof liner anyways? do u cry alot or go swimming with it on!?! im not ttrying to be offensive here im just curios

After I apply eyeliner I take a makeup brush and lightly dust a little powder on to set it. I never get racoon eyes and I don't have to damage my skin by trying to rub off the eyeliner to roughly when I wash my face.

dont be cheap and go for the good brands such as clinique
clinique has a very good gel eye liner that is aplied with a brush it works very well and it stays on all day without smudging :)

i d bare minerals has a liner sealer. place a few drops of liner sealer in a sm. mixing well add sm. amount of liner shadow dab liner brush into mixture and apply to lash line. tear-proof,sweat-proof,smudge-proof and rain-proof.

water resistenat should be good enough unless ur planning to do some water sports in it or stuff like that, water proof takes longer to clean off.
