I like to swim, and I am not sure if swimming normally will effect my pregnancy? I am 4 months now. If anyone have any good suggestion, please welcome and Thanks in advance.

it will be good for you, as long as they don't put too much chlorine in the water.

It will give you support, help you retain your muscle tone, and help you relax.

Swimming is excellent for pregnant women. The water can actually be very supportive to the extra weight you'll be carrying and very soothing to the aches and pains of pregnancy. The only time it may be a problem is your last month as sometimes too much physical activity can induce labor. As you get into the last part of your pregnancy stay in touch with your doctor as to whether you should discontinue your swimming routine.

I loved to swim when I was pregnant. I swam up until a day before I delivered with my baby born in the summer. I swam during all of my pregnancies... The key is to take it a bit slower than you usually do. Listen to your body. Stop if you get a cramp!!! But enjoy it. I think it is the very best pregnant excercize. Also, when you get really big, it feels so good to get the gravity relief. Sometimes I would get in the water just to take the load off.

Swimming is very good for a pregnant woman. Had I been able to I would have had a water birth when my daughter was born in fact.

Swimming is very good! It will help you relax! Just take it easy and if you start to hurt..get out asap. It also depends on what your doc says though so you need to ask. If you have had preg complications already you may not be allowed but if your preg is totally normal and healthy then its ok

swimming is excellent in pregnancy, the water makes you feel lighter and helps to support the belly. unless your pregnancy is considered high risk, then talk to doc, though many will allow swimming some.
i labored in our heated pool with my 3rd, it was wonderful.
