I,m fed up with cox they raise our rates like once twice a year i,m paying like 45 bucks for basic cable and 50 for high speed internet. all together my bill was 80 a month now its going to be 85 with there new rate hikes this company is greedy man. they are our maine cable provider in az. they are penazlizing some of us for not going to digital cable. and not geting there crappy bundle pack ugh someone should sue them.

I KNOW EXACTLY HOW YOU FEEL. COMCAST DOES THE SAME THING. THEY WILL BE RAISING THE RATES SOON. THEY ALWAYS DO IT RIGHT AFTER THE NEW YEAR. I GUESS SINCE WE GET A COST OF LIVING RAISE, THEY FEEL THE NEED TO RAISE THE COST OF CABLE.

I'm in AZ and got that letter last week myself. They must really be desperate for money or something, considering how many ads they run on tv to get cable instead of satellite, and their digital phone service vs QWest. Strange being out here... never saw all these ads and counter-ads for cable and phone service before back in Texas.

They can do this because basically, they are a monopoly in your area. Look at other alternatives besides cable/broadband internet. Some DSL packages can be as low as $20 per month.
