The will give you an "average" for what an item you are looking for is selling on eBay. Price guides are BS. They are created from quotes by retailers for what they would "like" to sell a book for, not what a book is actually worth.
eBay which is an open market having buyers freely bidding, is a more accurate reflection on a book's value, because it shows what buyers are "willing" to pay. Not what a retailer wants to sell for.
