Hundreds of careless commuters are losing their money each day, in Mumbai's local trains. Very few of the pickpockets are caught, because within seconds after it has been 'lifted', it would have been quietly passed-on to another seemingly uninterested passenger - while the culprit moves several paces away from the victim !
...The question of 'throwing that kind of person from the train' arises, only if and when one such pickpocket can be caught red-handed - which will hardly ever happen.
...If it does, and you take the law into your own hands, and 'throw that person from the train', and he dies, remember that you will be charged with murder, which is 'the unlawful and intentional killing of a human being'. Even if the fellow does not die, but is physically hurt, you will be charged with 'battery and assault' !
...Really, your impulsive idea is not worth these risks.
...It's better for you, to learn some effective ways to safely carry your money in a crowded suburban train - to prevent this sort of loss, for which you too are to blame !

~You asked a question, then answered it.. lol
Sorry you lost your money, hopefully you'll be more careful in the future.
How could you possibly prove who it was? If it could be proven, they should be sent to jail, not thrown from a train.~
