Is that why he is against the slavery back when he was alive?

Martin Luther King Jr. wasn't a slave or a politician, he was a minister and became a political activist. Slavery ended in 1865, King became an activist in the 1950's, because even though slavery ended African Americans were still treated as subhuman.

Martin Luther King Jr. was an amazing man, you should read more about him.

No Martin Luther King was not a slave but he was treated as a second class citizen. It is call segregation. It is when there were "white" and "black" separation. Blacks could on eat in white restaurants, drink from white drinking fountains, or set in a white area like on a bus.

The civil rights moment changed that.

no...slavery was abolished during Abraham Lincolns presidency (centuries before the birth of Martin Luther King). He was against inequality among humans

No, he wasn't a slave. He was however an oppressed black man who was, incidentally, a preacher.
