Ok so i have this laptop and all of a sudden it stopped playin music, I mean the speakers work because when I log off i hear the usual music, but i won't let me listen to anything else!! what is going on????????? HELPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!

sounds like you got a bug or try the volume control on the music program you using.

There are three places you can check. First the application may have a mute button.

If you use Microsoft Windows Media Player look at the slide bar. Left of the slide bar there is a mute button. Inspect this and check that the slide bar if forward.

Next look in the system tray which is normally on the bottom right. There may be a button hiding some of the tray. Press it as needed and look for a small speaker icon. Select this icon, it may vary from one computer to another because it is related to a chip vendor driver. Turn up all the volumes.

Lastly, From the Start menu, settings, control panel. Double click on "Sound and Audio Devices." Check the volume tab and also the Audio tab.

hmmmm....ive had similar problems before. i could listen to music on iTunes, but i couldnt hear any sounds or music on the internet. it was annoying. try going to windows help for a way to fix it. mine was on a desktop so i cant guarentee my solution will work for you.

did u mute it? check the volume control system. Or you can run anti-virus programme to check weather your computer is being attacked by virus.
