wrap the cat in a bath towel, so you don't get scratched, hold him under one arm..open mouth by pulling head back and put pill in back of mouth @ base of tongue..close mouth and rub throat..or have someone else hold the cat and you open the mouth the same way and insert pill...or crush and put in some tuna. give the cat a treat afterwards..good luck and I hope your cat gets better soon.

As mentioned you need to open the cats mouth and place the tablet at the back of their tongue...sometimes this is easier said than done..I had a cat who was able to "flick" the tablet out of her mouth...I ended up getting a towel wrapping her in it so that her paws were enclosed (like a mummy) and getting someone to hold her while I could quickly put the tablet in her mouth and then hold her mouth shut so that she swallowed it...
otherwise..have you ever tried crushing it up into some food?

Good Luck

QUICKLY pry the mouth open (put your fingers as far towards the back part of his mouth as you can) and toss the pill as far down his throat as you can. As long as you get it far enough into his throat he has no choice but to swallow it. This always works for my guys. The trick is being quick or they get really ticked! Hope that helps.

You put the pill on the back of the cats tongue, then close its mouth, and rub its throat/neck area. Guaranteed that will work!!
