No, only black people in America, who have slave ancestry are considered black. Ethnicity not a race. You can be a dark skinned Hungarian, or a white person born in Nigeria. In the land called Africa, there are different racial groups who all have dark skin and the same texture of hair. The Aboriginals of Australia are dark skin, the East Indians are dark skin, the Ethiopians are dark skinned, the bushmen of Namibia are dark skin, the North African (Moroccans, Tunisians, Libyans, and Egyptians) are all dark skin people. Dark skin does not mean they are the same racial group. They are Arabs, which is ethnic, not a race.

North Africans are a mix of Berbers, Arabs, Africans and Europeans. North African people are as rich in ethnicities as their history. It is a melting pot and that is why you can find people from all races, colors, etc... I am from Morocco and I look black my cousin has blond hair and has a European look so between the two of us you have different sides of the spectrum

If they came over here, I would assume they would be African-Americans. You shouldn't use "black," the only color that is used as a race is "white." Every form I fill out has all these different race names.....and then for me, it's just "white."

Not that simple. They are not black people, but I'm not sure they can be put in the Caucasian basket either. Most people there are Semitic, hence "white". Doesn't mean they're all Arabs either. Kabyles, Berbers and Targui (plural form of Tuareg) are not Arabs, yet whites, if you neglect random cross-breeding here and there between them and black people further down South.
