pour a small amount of 1/2 hydrogen peroxide and 1/2 water to clean the area twice a day. Alcohol is too drying, can impede healing and is painful. Straight hydrogen peroxide is also too drying. Put a tiny dab of neosporin ointment on it, if you have it. If she was going to bleed out like as an arterial tear then she would have in about 3 minutes. Active bleeding can be controlled with direct pressure, some even dip the injured part in corn meal. She should heal in about 2 weeks with the absence of infection: increased swelling, foul discharge. She should be fine. Have a great year.

you can try a simple home remedy...
Clean it off real well with some warm water and mild soap. Then use some hydrogen peroxide, Then put a small amount of neosporin on it and that will disinfect it as well as make it kool and comfy for the little guy... Thats what I did for mine when they got into a little tiff.
Hope this helps

Take the hamster to a vet. There are emergency vets that you can take the hamster to.
First aid would dictate that you put a bandage on there, if you can get a little on one it.

Like others have said apply presure and put cornstarch or powder on it to colt the bleeding.
Also, if these are syrian hamster (bigger hamsters, not dwarf) they should not be living together. These hamsters are not to be kept in pairs and can fight to the death. This is serious and they should be kept apart.

Aw I had hamsters growing up. Just let him go, it will heal on it's own. I think it is good when an animal cleans it's own open wounds, it cleans it or something.

Take her to the vet, and keep applying pressure to it, try applying a little corn starch to it to help clot it. Hope she's ok
