Dissolve equi-molar amounts of K2SO4 and Cr2(SO4)3 in distilled water, and slowly let the water evaporate. If you offer a crystal seed, you might grow a nice crystal of this alaun-like double salt (which has ionic bonds between the hydrated kations and the sulfate, and complex "bonds" between the hydrate shell and the cations).
