You cant keep hamsters together..the pet store should've told you this. If the person selling the hamsters to you said you could, chances are they werent very educated in that topic and were just basing that on the baby hamsters they sell in the store. once they start growing up they'll fight constantly, maybe even kill each other. the only thing you can do is seperate them, possibly take one back if you dont have room for 2 cages. If you leave them together they wont resolve their issues, they'll keep fighting til one is seriously injured, or even killed.

You may have to keep them separated at all times. I had hamsters when I was a kid. After a while they started fighting. We finally had to get a separate cage when Fluffy ripped off part of Grumpie's ear!! As for the bleeding paw get some talcum powder or baby powder and put it on there it should help stop the bleeding

i would seperate them, if they are of opposite sex that is why and believe it or not they are a type of rodent and all rodents posess a canabalistic nature, and it may even begin to eat the otehr one. Also it can turn the attacker in to a very aggressive hampster. just split them up, even if that means getting out a bucket or something. watch putting it in card board because they will chew through that. I had a pair of mice before that we all lovey dovey then one day they got in to a tiff, i figured that the other one made the other mad some how and well. i checked on it later on and half of the one mouse was missing. Dont make the mistake i did. please seperate them, if the pawisnt damaged to bad, just keep it on CLEAN bedding changed every day so it dont get infected. but im shure they will be fine

The thing with hamsters is that you have to keep males and females seperated until its mating time. I had a couple together and the female bit the males toe completely off!! I learned from then on that if you put them together and they fight......seperate them.

You must have a male and female. If the female is not in heat she will try and kill the other one. Or vice versa. Like my hamsters were female and male. My female tried to kill my male so I had t separate them. So you may want to separate them.

Keep them seperated, dont put the hammy in the cage with the other because they will kill each other. Specially if their the same sex they get easily jealous of their territory!

hamster are solitary animals. they fight once they get older and can only be together when young. seperate them for good. if your going to keep them both in seperate cages and dont let them ever interact again. take the ingered one to a vet ASAP.

You might want to double check this...but usually its not good to put two female hamsters together..because they fight so often. I think it has to do with hormones of the females.
