How can I quantitative define kalium in komplex K3[Cr(NCS)6[*4H2O?

I know how to calculate it, I need to know how can I separate kalium/pottasium in that molecule in lab.

There are hardly any useful precipitation reactions for potassium ions. Perhaps the most useful might be the reaction to potassium hydrogentartrate.

Using a bit more modern methods, you could use an ion changer resin to separate the potassium (which isn't part of the complex, only the balancing ion) and exchange it for something else, and then get the potassium off that ion changer again.

If you just need to determine potassium concentration, the standard instrumental method would be atomic emission spectroscopy with a flame.

The easier way would be to separate out the chromium complex (possibly using aluminium oxide for chromatography), but in that case too you will have to offer another ion to balance the charges, e.g. NH4Cl. Assuming that the potassium will not be held back as much as the colored complex anion, you could take the washed out liquid and first remove all water (at 105°C, then 120°C), then all NH4Cl (at about 500°C) to be left with KCl (which then can be determined gravimetrically).

Why do you want to determine the uninteresting potassium, btw?

I've been in your place many times before. Please don't let it become a habit, you're really not going to like it. Self-harming solves nothing. It might relieve some emotional pressure but it's temporary. If you feel the urge to do something, sometimes I'd wear a hair tie around my wrists and just flick it or rubbing an ice cube on your wrist/skin sometimes relieves yourself of the need to self-harm. Try to relax right now. Take a deep breath. Maybe you can listen to some music or just rest, to take your mind off of whatever is making you feel the need to self-harm. If you have a counselor at school, I highly suggest you pay them a visit, it could really help you out. If your parents are understanding, I'm sure they wouldn't mind sitting down with you to talk about it either. Stay strong.

Kalium is also known as potassium, ie symbol = K
To quantitatively define K in the complex, add up the atomic masses and multiply by the coefficients and subscripts of each. Then calculate the mass% of K in the complex by using mass% = (mass of part/mass of whole) *100
