My brother just got the current xbox 360 and he says it's pretty loud when he plays gears of war. When does the next Xbox 360 revision come out? Should I wait?

Yes, you should wait for the next X360. Currently, the X360 has lot of problem such as too hot, software and some other due to the product error. With the next revision, Microsoft maybe able to overcome some of these problem. Anyway, after the second there will be the thrid and so on. It's up to you to decide whether you want to get one X360.

Ok if your brother says your 360 is loud be specific:
Is it the console were speaking of
Is it the game sound

the latter is wat most people would read it as so if the latter is the problem then turn down teh TV volume.

If it is the former then just turn up your TV volume and it will block out the 360 HOWEVER if you have nyko intercooler then that is your cause. I suggest getting a fand stand and returning the intercooler before it destroys ur 360 (did that to mine) and so ends my asnwer.
