Interesting point that many people are bound to have asked themselves. It was interesting when Jermaine Jackson made comments about 'white trash' and people belonging to an 'inferior class' to his and how he and another contestant were the only 'people of colour' in the show that very little has been said about it. Does it only become 'racist' when an Asian person (ie from the Indian sub-continent) is in the firing line? Are Asians too over sensitive about racism or do they have a valid point?

I am not surprised that people are complaining about rascism but I can't see it myself. I agree with you that Jermaine has made many comments which are rascist. I think the issue between Jade, Danielle and Jo and Shilpa is one of class. Shilpa has been quite haughty with them, she mocks Jade's accent all the time. But at the end of the day if the girls don't like her that is not rascism. And if someone says she's "a dog" that's not rascism either nor is calling her "The Indian". People are way too quick to claim rascism. Shilpa is from a society which is absolutely full of prejudice of all kinds I don't think it will hurt her to be on the receiving end for once.

Shilpa seems a objective of bullying for no obvious reason and also you've were given to look at each and each and every of the accessible causes. that's racism, that's that they are jealous of her beauty, that's a category element or that's that she's not from England and all the different females are and he or she's an uncomplicated objective for bullying - an outsider. it would want to also be that the others drink too a lot and Shilpa would not. it is probable a blend of each and each and every of the above.

I don't agree with you at all. You sound like a selfish bimbo!
Jade, Jo and Danielle are racially bullying her.
Jade the one that sounds like a pipsqueak.
Danielle that likes to show off those tittys
Jo the one that looks like a transexual *****!
Shilpa is plain and i feel so sorry for her. She has been singled out of that house. Only Dirk and Jermaine can see how nice she is!

i think it has been blown totally out of proportion just as most supposedly racist issues are. When shilpa fist went into the house she looked down on everyone else as though she was superior to them and so i think what is happening now is the others just responding to that. im not saying its right im just saying that i dont think its racism and i think that the other issues that have led up to this have been overlooked as usual. People are to quick to call the racism card in my opinion.

yes it can be very one sided and the racism card is played whenever a 'ethnic' person is criticised

people like jade etc arent bright enough to have alternative words when they dislike people they just go for the stereo type im afraid

if u dont like a person of a different colour it doesnt automatically make you racist

Given that the Chinese have been slaughtering Tibetans, Taiwanese and ethnic Malaysians now for centuries, I don't think Asians have a leg to stand on when accusing others of racism.

Perhaps more interesting, what would have been the response if a white person had made the comment?

Who cares what a bunch of self-obsessed celebrities think?

Why not deal with this problem in the real world?
