what do we say now, "my very entertaining mother just served us nine..."? nine what?

They're not saying it never existed, just that it should have never been classified as a planet because it's so small and has an orbit more like an asteroid or comet.

The saying is now: "my very entertaining mother just served us noodles!"

Pluto wasnt originally part our solar system. Sometime during history it was pulled from its own orbit into ours, the orbit around the sun. We know this because the orbit isnt "flat" like the orbits of the other 8 planets but on a slant.

Scientists also believe that Pluto wasnt actually a planet but a large meteor that fell into our orbit, but still wasnt an original planet (see above)

Yes the chunk of ice or whatever it is has always been real, they just changed the definition of Planet so Pluto no longer qualifies. Otherwise two new planet or astroid like objects recently discovered would also be called planets and we would now be up to 11 planets, but instead we are down to 8. Yeah I know it sucks!

They are saying that Pluto exists but that it is a planetoid meaning it is not large enough to be classified as an actual planet. It really is just a technicality.
