can u guys help me out? i want to try out for cheer next year but i cant do my splits. or heel stretch, or scorpian. or cartwheels. what are some exercises i can do to help me be more flexible?

Do the splits every night for 30 seconds. Do bridges to help with the cartwheel. A cartwheel is a handstand that you end at the side. Ask a gym teacher for help. do leg lifts to become flexible and build muscle. Lay on your back and have a freind pull and push your leg to your face or as far as it can go to get a heel stretch. Hold your leg when you do this.Hope you make it!

To get splits, the only thing I can think of is practice them a lot. Stretch out a little before you do though,or it will hurt A LOT. To get your cartwheel, this one's tough for me to answer because I don't remember how I learned. But people always say "hand hand foot foot," which is basically the way you do it. Remember whn you do them to straighten your legs and keep your body tight, or it will look really messy. I receommened having someone spot you until you've really got it down.
