The rest do not have gravid spots yet, but they also have not developed the gonopodium (sp?) does this mean they are male or female or still too early to tell. Some of them have black and yellow markings, the two females only have black...I just don't know. It's my first guppy batch...my second one just gave me 6 or 7 more itty bittys who I put in with the other 1 month old ones. How old do they start breeding? I don't want more pregnant guppies etc.

In my case when the fish didn't have a gravid spot at this time they were males, it just took them a little bit longer to tell then the females. And they can start making their own babies as soon as you can tell both genders so start separating them now.

maximum guppies' tail will turn black at the same time as that's pregnant. Your guppy is pregnat, yet will take a lengthy time period to launch fry because its abdomen continues to be small, fry interior her abdomen are literally not fertilize yet. it is going to take a minimum of two better weeks or maximum 3 weeks on your guppy to launch fry.
