No, I do not think she is too liberal. I think she is one of the few voices of sanity right now in a sea of people screaming for Bush's head on a platter. She'll prove to have a cooler head than many of her fellow Congressmen and over the next two years I think many will come to view her as one of the best Speakers in our history. Of course, to many far right wingers, if you aren't a Bushie that makes you a socialist or a communist, at the very least a cut and run liberal so you shouldn't have any shortage of those answers. Hmm...makes me wonder what they'll soon begin calling the many, many members of their own party who are publicly disagreeing with George Bush. She's a Democrat, and she's a liberal, not as moderate as Hillary for example, but she's not sitting in extreme liberal territory at all.

No I don't. But after seeing the far right wingers that have been controlling Congress for the past 12 years, I can see where anyone who isn't a card carrying Republican could be seen as a far left wing type by Republicans..

My feelings are that she's a little left of center on social issues, but a little right of center on fiscal issues.

No. Compared to the barking right-wing moonbats she evicted, she is quite sane and moderate.
