My opinion of happiness is when you are growing spiritually and all the other happiness comes along with it. You learn so much about little things that make you happy. I don't think money can make you happy, but it can buy you a lot of things. When you are spiritually mature, you are physically, emotionally and financially secure. I am not saying you are rich (money wise), but your focus on life is so much different. God blesses you with many things so you can give to someone else and it just goes on on on.

Happiness is something that is an end in itself, it can never be a mean, and by this I mean that if your using someone and something to gain happiness at their expense, then it is not true happiness.
Happiness is definately different for everyone, but there may be some kind of universal happiness, something that is an actual feeling brought about by genuine human feelings or intentions. There are different kinds of happiness, for example, the kind of happiness one gets from watching their money multiply is different from the happiness one gets from watching their son or daughter be born into the world. Do you understand what i'm getting at, happiness is subjective, it is something that is agreeable, something that is sentimental to the individual.
What I mean by happiness being subjective is that you can't tell someone they are not happy, if they say they are because happiness is a first person experience and one persons experience cannot be felt by another in theory.
Although some people do find happiness in evil, and although they claim they are happy, most philosophers would argue that they are incorrect or simply psychopaths or pathological and very difficult to argue against.
hope this helps somewhat, i know its a little choppy, but its yahoo answers

Happiness is a state of the mind. It is a choice a person has to make consciously. It is merely the recognition and appreciation of the the blessings that one already has instead of looking for things which are not in your possession. Genuine happiness cannot be equated with the material things or the traits that you have, or how beautiful or smart one is. You may have all these things and still be not happy, because you "choose" not to be happy by not appreciating what you have. You may own only a single penny and yet is happy because you "choose" to see the joy of at least having one penny. Happiness in short is WANTING WHAT YOU HAVE and NOT HAVING WHAT YOU WANT, because if this is not the case, then you will never be happy.

Happiness is all from the atmosphere of family and good friends, relatives. My main opinion is don't talk others matters an discuss about good things and do service to the poor, and in my life I am giving my blood to needful persons at every 6 months, or in emergency 3 months, that time I am so happiest person in the world.

Happiness is understanding ourselves. This consciousness make us happy. The other feelings with being unconscious are not happiness, but pleasure. I think, happiness and pleasure should be understood as two different things. Money can bring pleasure, but only human, "self", "mind" can achieve happiness. I think that if feeling is got from physical objects and goals, this is pleasure. If feeling is got from understanding yourself (which means also understanding others), this is happiness. You understand your essence, mind than you understand other possible minds, others. Helping them means helping yourself and helping yourself will automatically mean that helping others by being good-conscious. Sorry for my English.

It is a feeling, when people achieve their goals, desire is fulfilled and sometimes when they feel they are out of danger, the success/victory is in sight, a glee when your opponent is going to face defeat and an inconvenience is caused to your opponent. Thus it is the positives for you and the negatives of your opponent that gives happiness. Whether it is religion, friendship, offficial work, society, wealth and family the above constitute a feeling of happiness.

Happiness is mastering our creator's universal gifts of life with success as in worshiping God in planet of apes.
It is not from inside the mind or heart.
Try and decode this lyrics "Take me to your heart" and "I'll be there" so "When will I see you again"
It come from answering a piece of question with those "Three little words" on 'Who are you" left behind by our creator for each and every living human kind to come up with an answer vital for the survival and advancement of living human kind in planet of apes.
Look around does "Money, Money, Money, with "All for the money", success in material wealth or marriage make oneself happy or living in misery in planet of apes?
So try and find the missing x-files and hit the home-run with it.
Then life is worth living for in planet of apes.
