Take plenty of vitamins and eats lots of carrots! =) Also try not to sit to close to the tv or stay too long behind the computer screen, slowly you will notice your sight getting better but this also depends how bad it is already.
I know that always wearing your glasses won't make your eye sight get better but only make your eyes dependent to always need the glasses and that might cause them to get worse.

Most people believe that once they are diagnosed with some vision problem and start wearing eye glasses or contact lenses to correct them, they will have to do so for life in order to see better. Those who want a permanent solution to improve eyesight typically resort to Lasik or other corrective eye surgeries. But you you can also improve your vision without surgery and can see perfectly well without using eyeglasses or contact lenses. You can check here to know how https://tr.im/8b6d1

Good nutrition is very important for both your general and eye health. Good nutrition helps our body to grow, repair wear and tear, protect against infection and to function properly. An eye is an organ that detects light. Different kinds of light-sensitive organs are found in a variety of creatures. The simplest eyes do nothing but detect whether the surroundings are light or dark. More complex eyes are used to provide the sense of vision. Huge range of eye care products at Nutrovita.com.

You can wear a patch over one eye while at home. This forces the other eye to become strong. This is to be done for two hours (or longer if you can) at a time. Start with your weakest eye. Alternate eyes one day at a time. over a course of two weeks to a month you should see improvement in both eyes.

Just answered a similar question here http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AihXIyi6UtCkyN5GXGCJiQDzy6IX?qid=20070116022513AAhoDpK
to summarize - yes, there are exercises you can do that will help, plus nutrition is essential (not too much retinol though (vitamin A))
Many people who have worn glasses for years have benefited from using the Bates method to the extent that they no longer need correction.
Additionally, laser surgery can be VERY dangerous and there is still no long-term record of the effects it has, although recent reports are not good.

An iridologist showed me a pressure point exercise to promote better eyesight.
Our family drinks a high antioxidant wholefood wolfberry juice that has the following claim:
"One of the carotenoids found in the wolfberry in higher than normal amounts is called zeaxanthin. There are some forty clinical studies showing it is a powerful eye protectant."
God bless!

you cannot really drop ur prescription power without surgery...but you can do excercises fr ur eye muscles to help prevent a higher power...hold a pencil in front of u and concentrate on the tip and move the pencil slowly from side to side and up and down all the while staring at the tip
have ur multi vit everyday...and keeping cold pads on ur eyes at the end of the day helps too!
