I have a 1994 saturn twin cam, and lately it has been using at least two times as much gas as it did before. It runs perfect and everything is perfect but that. Does anyone know what could cause this and how to fix it exactly?

Excessive gas consumption is usually a clogged air cleaner or a dirty mas air flow sensor or a lazy O2 sensor.Check the easy stuff first and clean the Mass Air Flow sensor with only the stuff designed for this. Also try a container or two of gas system cleaner to clean you fuel injectors. this should be done at least once a year. Have you ever done this?

There are several possible causes, but rather than shooting from the hip into the dark, do this:—

…and scroll down below the chart for instructions concerning retrieving the trouble codes. It is easy and only requires a paperclip.
With the codes in hand, refer to the correct manual for the car for proper DIAGNOSTICS.
The manual is available at the local parts store or at the local book store, or at the local library.
AFTER diagnostics, perform whatever necessary repairs are called for.
