Do you think that the bums on the street should be offered the jobs picking the crops in the fields.?

Instead of the illigals - because, frankly I am kind of tired of hearing about how hard they work, I know they work hard, Ok so what, are the migrant fram workers the only ones that work hard ?
How much longer are we going to pander to the liberal, left who's only adgena is to have more and more people flooding this country and keeping the welfare machine alive // In my humble opinions.
I say throw the bums into work camps and force them to work. And if they do not pull their weight cut the handouts. And make it a crime for anyone to give money to the bums.

I would really love to have a commune where basic housing would be structured on a large property.
and were homeless or poor people can come and learn to be self sufficient.. food, water, power etc.
I know its a dream but what the hell..

But i guess it comes down to the bums on the street, if they want to get help or not. maybe they don't want to pick crops or start being self sufficient..
But i feel something should be done.

Think it through, if the bums on the street where willing to do that type of work , then there wouldn't be illegals here in the first place. As for the bum concentration camps, it is an intriguing idea.....but the nazis kind of gave the whole concept a bad name. That whole belief of having some kind of morals and ethics kind of gets in the way.

I am a liberal. I have no problem with people coming here from other countries legally. That is how everyone except the Native Americans and black slaves came to be here. We are a mixed society. I live in the rural south. I got married after high school and stayed at home with my sons and worked on a family farm for most of their childhood. I got a badly needed divorce and went to work in a factory. I had no formal education. I made pretty good money for a few years. I have worked in 6 different factories that closed down. I am in the autumn of my life and finding a job is very near impossible. There are some on the street who got there because of alcohol, drugs etc but there are many people who are only a few lost paychecks from being in the same situation. Our country (with the help of walmart) took away our jobs. It owes us something. Yes, give the "bums" a job in the fields. Give them a place to live while they do it and give them free health care. That is what our government has been doing for illegal aliens.

No I do not. How very arrogant to call those people bums. Do you know each person's history, how they got there, what they do need.
farm work is very hard and the hours are long for low wages.
Is that opinion really humble.

illegals dont qualify for welfare and bums if they wanted to work could probably get a better job than picking fruit, they choose not to work
