Additional information: Charles Barley has put on a little weight since his playing days. Dick Bavetta has put on some years since Barley's playing days?
I wanna know who would win and WHY?

FYI: Dick Bavetta is currently the oldest referee in the NBA. I believe he's 67 yrs old.

Yeah I was watching TNT too and also wondered who would win the race. But if you haven't seen Dick Bavetta in action, he's fast! Although Charles Barkley has the age advantage of being younger, Dick has the weight advantage. Since Dick Bavetta is constantly running because of his officiating and I've seen him in action, I'll take Dick. I think he's too fast of an old man for Charles. But hey Charles, prove me wrong!

Even though Dick Bavetta is older than dirt, he would still win a race against Barkley. You know Bavetta gets some exercise running up and down the court when he officiates games, plus he runs off the court, too. The only exercise it looks like Barkley gets is lifting a fork to his mouth.

I think Dick Bavetta would win by a landslide. Barkley would be making too many Krispy Kreme stops. Besides, Bavetta, for an elderly man, is in great shape.

Dont know who bavetta is but it would be funny as hell to see Barkley run instead of talking all day about how great he used to be. SHUTUP, hes an annoying little B!^(#

in an interview with NBA tv.. Dick Bavettas wife says he runs 2 miles aday....Charles is younger, but i think Bavetta would smoke him...There is no way Charles would beat him in a full court race
