Tell me where the Wizards would be without him.

Without Arenas, the Wizards would most likely be below Memphis Grizzlies this season. As a Suns fan, I absolutely hate Gilbert Arenas. But I mean that in a nice way. He's such a great player that he pisses me off when he plays my Suns. Incredible range, incredible pain in the $^$^!

Arenas is a great offensive player, but to be GREAT/MVP status he needs to start focusing on "D" throughout the whole game and not just when he turns over the ball, and he also needs to stop thinking about not being first or even second pick (sub) on last year's All Star Team/MVP race, or even the Olympic Team and LIVE in the present. It's not about him, it's about the TEAM. Does he set picks for other players, does he box out, can he get more than 4-5 assists or 3 rebounds a game, he plays 40 mins plus a game, he should be doing all of these things. At least he is driving to the basket and shooting free throws better this year. Caron Butler does all of these things and seeks no credit. As long as Arenas seeks to get credit for the things he does, he will never make it to the next level. I still love him!! But I just don't want him to be a Larry Hughes.

Lol. I actually have in no way voted for him in my existence. no longer this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, no longer very last 3 hundred and sixty 5 days... Gilbert Arenas "Agent 0" has performed "0" video games & yet he's ahead in votes over Joe Johnson! Joe Johnson is having an astounding season & yet human beings vote for Arenas. it truly is stupid.

Hell yeah! Arenas for MVP...wizz would be having tons of trouble without him. look at the stat when he sores over 30 how they win nearly all the time...arenas needs to be on for them to win games most of the time...if he's not scoring, he's dishing to butler and jamison who are hitting shots...i hope his shoulder injury is nothing serious and that he continues his great play!

My boy from 'Zona should be getting more looks, but even though the Wizards would be no where without him, MVP is not only based off how well you help your team, but the total success of your team. thats why Nash will threepeat even though Areanas is probably a better player

Great statement! However the fans would not get to pick the MVP.

As much as I love Kobe, I would have to say Gilbert.

How about not. The East sucks. Dirk is the clear frontrunner as of today.
