No friend, D-Stands for Desktop processor which can be said as any processor that can be installed on Desktop.Where as dual core is a type of Desktop (D) processor hwich has inbuilt 2 processors.Thats the reason we have Pentium M processor for Laptops where M-mobile processor.

Yes.
Both are the same, D-stands for Dual Core. But not applicable to Celeron D, because it is just a single chip processor. Hope I helped you.

That all depends completely on which processors you are talking about. Include the "numbers" next time, like 820, 915, etc. BTW, the 900 series is ALOT better than any of the 800 series.
