I think you are thinking of other actors, but the producer, Sheldon Leonard, who had small bit roles in "The Andy Griffith Show", (usually as a mobster character), was the bartender in the classic film "It's a Wonderful Life". No other regular cast member of "Andy Griffith" was in the classic.

I see that one person has listed the actor who played "Otis the Drunk". But that is incorrect. That wonderful character actor, Hal Smith, was a regular for more than 30 years in Walt Disney films and other Disney films as various cartoon voices. But he did not appear in "It's a Wonderful Life" .
