Self-Respect, as this pertains to everything and anything, depending on how someone "lives their life", people often trade it for material things or, as you say, "fame, money, success, life, relationships... etc.". Personally, I've seen "the bottom" and during my climb back up to "level", the most important thing I learned was that I traded my self-respect, in an attempt to get all those things you mentioned, and it only produced failure. The beauty of self-respect is that, it is something that no one can take from you, it is something that only "you" can give away. Once you have, successful or not, everything else is meaningless. So, in answer to your question... Yes, and that is something that I would never again trade for anything.
Good question. Thanks.

Whatever you have at the moment is a product of what you have been able to do or put another way, were given to you as a gift or as an inheritance. Whatever is the source of what you have is not important, the question is, can these things be traded for anything? Absolutely! anything for something is what we as a people here on earth have been doing. Others trade what they have for money, others trade for enjoyment, others trade for survival and still others trade for the sake of trading.
Trading is an economic activity that serves as part of the market mechanisms to facilitate movement of one people's produce to another for their own benefit. It also serves as a mechanism to enable our economic resources (land, labor, capital, and entrepreneurial ability) be of use to others and thereby facilitate the flow of income in a country or elsewhere. Full use of economic resources connotes prosperity, hence, by virtue of this fact, anything that you have is bound to be traded for anything at any point in time for your own benefit and so for others.
So keep on trading!!! for anything at all. It is good for the economy.

Attachment to my self, because even if I were ever to so want, I can not actually part with it any way at all.
This is the truth for all, no matter who chooses to accept or not.

My happiness. I know its sounds completely selfish. But I also mean, the things that make me happy, i.e. seeing my family and friends happy, love. To me, there's nothing in this world that you could trade for happiness.

My spirit..... I cannot trade it for nothing..... Not even death..... Because it is eternal, and it is the only thing I have that is at balance in a world of chaos..... I am pleased that it is one of the greatest gifts that God has given and I cannot trade it for nothing.....

my knowledge. I would rather be a smart hobo, than a no-nothing rich celebrity. Paris Hilton (I thought about putting the word 'cough' around that last bit, but I didn't want to obscure my meaning)
