What kind of a fool would ignore advice like that from a foreign policy expert with a lot more experience? Do you think Bush ever wishes he never broke Iraq in the first place, or is he too stubborn and stupid to ever reflect on his mistakes?

The American people will never forget the "famous" Powell line. At 2-3 billion dollars a week out of the taxes payers wallet, it is pretty hard to forget.

I believe that Bush wishes that he never would have started this war, but he will never say that, it make him look "weak on defense" (another b u l l s h i t conservative term).

If Bush would have just finished the job in Afghanistan and never touched Iraq, He would have went down in history as a great man. Now he will go down in history as a president that lied to his people. The country was completely united then, now it is more divided than it has ever been.

I think he probably has nightmares about it. I'll admit, I don't have a lot of respect for very many politicians. But my respect for Colin Powell rose to a very high degree when he decided he couldn't be associated with this Administration any longer. I remember Powell looking like he was sucking on a lemon when he was speaking to the U.N. I think there were many people who knew we were in big trouble simply by his demeanor - which was not out of line - just obviously troubled while he spouted rhetoric he clearly didn't believe himself.

I don't think Bush is capable of self-reflection. He is obviously incapable of admitting any wrong-doing. Even when trying to admit mistakes he refuses to take personal responsibility, such as when he said last Wednesday "mistakes have been made." He can't stop listening to the broken record playing in his empty head long enough to listen to anyone, including foreign policy experts and his own generals, that has the temerity to disagree with him. Better to replace them and keep his ego fed than to actually listen to anyone who sees the situation realistically.

Bush cannot remember crap or find crap if it hit in the face let alone a good advice from a well nourished , experienced
Collin Powell. Bush & his cronies do not care about anything except how they can line their own pockets. That has been the Agenda of the Republicans from day one.

Bush is an example of the fool who would ignore advice from an expert. But what can you expect from a thief? He stole the election.

SORRY THIS MAN HAS NO REPUTATION IN MY BOOK.

I think the Bush administration is just thrown for a loop about why the Iraqi people are not happy and cooperating with Bush's oil-for-rebuilding scheme. I don't think they have a clue about diplomacy or other cultures.
I also thing they spend more time trying to spin the American people into believing they have a plan than actually working on creating a plan.

He doesn't care about what happens to Iraq. He has his eyes set on the oil and his aiming at Iran next. A lot of sh** is going to happen in the next two years.

WorldSource 19. I take offense at your assertion that "everyone knew he was a moron but still voted for him".

In actuality, everyone knew he was a moron but some people still voted for him. Please don't lump me in with the guys that voted Bush/Cheney. That's like lumping me in with the Reagan/Bush crowd. I don't play that..
