Life is a peculiar issue because all other matter than living creatures in this universe tend to be transformed into less complicated form - finally into energy.
I think that living creatures are an experiment where the limits of complexity shall be studied. Our consciousness is one step in this progress (which is against the laws of thermodynamics!) and makes us ask all kind of questions about our origin - and about the meaning and value of life, too.
I would be very interested to see the final solution but it seems that it takes still some time to find it....
Until it, I regard our life as a step towards something more and more elegant form of life, and we should do our best to have a positive input into this succession. To fight against very negative items like wars, environmental spoilage, selfishness of individuals and nations e.t.c is therefore our main task, I guess.

We are here to be stepping stones to one another... To build each other up when one of us should fall over the edge of the mountain we call life.....
We may not climb very high, but as far as we get, we have become a mountain in ourselves in that the big picture is a history of all that we have attained thoughtout time in a great service towards one another.......

To enjoy life to the fullest!!!! Especially today. Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a blessing!!! Also to add value to others life. To raise your children to become responsible people who would also add value to society. To enjoy your life partner. To be economically active to be a blessing to others. Heck, where do you want me to stop?? And last but not least. To know your Savior and prepare for eternity. Now THAT is gonna be fun!!!!!

To ask this question....Our purpose of living is understanding ourselves, so we are a big unknown question even to ourselves and we live to answer and interestingly,maybe most importantly only ASK this question. Being conscious, trying to understand, also means to understand the system which is we are in.
