it may not qualify for "unusual" to most people but it does for me (its not like the the music i normally listen too) its Dido-life for rent... i LOVE that album and have literally played it over and over again...its been out for a few years now and it still gives me the same feeling that i got when i first listened to it. ((i dont listen to it AS much anymore, but none the less its a great one))

" LA LEY " , MTV UNPLUGGED
I love those guys, but I don't speak Spanish. So I
have no idea of what's being said.
I listen to " Mentira ", and " Krazy World " alot.
I don't know anyone that speaks Spanish, to tell me.
I even brought the Movie the lead singer " Beto "
Acted in. He played a Priest. Good thing the movie
showed captions.

Ed and Denyze Alleyne Johnson's "20 20 Vision"
Ed is a classically trained violinist. He's worked with New Model Army, but his solo work, and that with Denyze on vocals, is what I know. He plays a purple electric five stringed violin, and uses multitracking techniques to create his sound. I've met them both a few times, and they're nice people to boot.

Puff, the magic dragon
Lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist
In a land called Honah Lee
Little Jackie Paper
Loved that rascal Puff,
And brought him strings and sealing wax
And other fancy stuff. Oh!

When I did have a thousand albums, that distinction would fall on two. Pink Floyd's Umma Gumma and Neruda by Red Rider.
