Does anyone know if Regis/Trade Secret offers maternitty leave in it's benefits package? (Aetna) Disablility is offered, but I can't tell if it can be used as maternity leave too or not.

I was employed at Trade Secret Salon years ago and had never received a package detailing whether they had maternity leave or not. Your best option is to ask HR or talk to your boss. Sometimes it depends on the state what you will receive, or not receive. Good luck!

I'm not sure where you're at, but in my state, they offer Family leave. 6 weeks for a normal, uncomplicated delivery, 12 otherwise. It is not through an insurance company or an employer, it is a state law/

i think that it depends on your company and insurance it might even be different for different states too, my husband works at UPS and they only give him 1 week off when i have my baby... that family leave act is nice, BUT, you dont get paid for any time you have off... my husband checked into it already, and when my sister in law took time off last jan when she had her baby her work only gave her a week also she wanted more and use the family leave act and she didnt get paid for any of it cept the week her work already gave her. but if you can afford to use family leave, go for it.
