Ready--> probably, Fast and nice-->NO.
I like the 1G of RAM, I've got 1536 MB myself, but the 2.5 GHZ celeron, ouch, that's not pretty, those go for what, 40$, Chances are your motherboard is pretty ancient too, If you have the cash, look for a new motherboard/CPU and keep your gig of ram maybe grab a bit more, you could give your system a nice boost for under 300$, I'd go AMD 64 X2, obscenely cheap because of new amd am2 processors, still really fast, celeron is OLD, forgotten.. You could run vista as is, but you wouldn't have much processing power left over for multi-tasking or media programs..

yeah but u should really get a 3.0 or clock ur 2.53 up to a 2.8. the 1 g ram is good.

i don't think so! cause even if you have a 1giga memory if your processor is a 32 bi it ain't work!!, try to check your processor if its a 64 bit processor, windos vista is a 64 bit processor!
