I was almost 8 weeks along and had period type bleeding. I went to the ER because it scared the crap out of me. They done an ultrasound and I had a mild placenta previa (where a part of the placenta covered the opening to the cervix). I never had any cramping. It could be completely normal. You should go to the ER or to your Dr and have them check things out. I hope that everything works out for you!!

When i went to hospital with my bleeding at 7 weeks i was told that i should not worry and that even 5 spoonfull of blood a time is not considered a lot and also i had no pain at all, i had an internal done and i was till closed and my tummy felt great. Had to wait to have a scan. 5 Days later i got a sharp pain and lost my baby.
So bleeding even with no pain is not good. Go to your doctor or go to hospital. I bleed for 7 days and saw 4 different doctors at hospital before they would take me seriously.
Good luck i hope it works out ok

That does not sound good-you really need to call your OB in the morning and get a blood test to check your pregnancy levels.I lost my 1st pregnancy at 5 weeks and I too bled like a period and I also had tons of horrible cramping. With my 2nd pregnancy and 3rd pregnancy I bled some-but not nearly as much as when I miscarried.

Sorry to say but flow like a period is never good news with a pregnancy. Spotting can be caused by sex, implantation, changes to the cervix, usually causes spotting. When you have flow comparable to a period, it most like indicates a miscarriage. You need to be checked to make sure you are cleaned out completely. Doc may order blood tests to check pregnancy hormone levels. Need to make sure you get a RhoGam shot if you have a negative blood type and miscarry.
Good luck and wish you well!

while i replace into 4 weeks with my first being pregnant, i replace into extremely bloated, my boobs felt like rocks, my lower back had an aching discomfort, it replace into puzzling drowsing, ignored era, gentle cramping, i might desire to experience the veins in my uterus beginning off to swell up, i replace into peeing each and every 20-30 minutes, I had the main important apatite yet all day ailment prevented me from eating as much as I choose I had, my face replace into extremely beginning off to swell up, i replace into exhausted 24/7, I lost 2lbs in 6 weeks simply by being pregnant, yet I knew mind-blowing away i replace into pregnant simply by instinct. This time around i think i'm pregnant lower back! Yay me. i will admit my final being pregnant went way worse than this one (and that i'm 4 weeks 5 days) is going because of the fact this time I purely have ignored classes, gentle breasts... till 2 days in the past while they began to experience like rocks lower back, huge urge for foodstuff, no all day ailment - thank goodness, exhaustion yet purely sufficient that i choose like a single one hour and a nil.5 nap while in comparison with my final being pregnant which replace into like 3 naps an afternoon

that happend to me too.
during week5.
It was heavy as my period and even had clots.
I thought i miscarried but then when I checked with my dr, I was still pregnant.
It's either it's normal or I had a twin and lost one. no way to tell for sure now but my dr confirmed that I'm still pregnant.
So if you are bleeding it's best to check with your dr.
good luck

If you had heavy bleeding then I would call your doctor asap, even if you had spotting with your first it is better to be safe than sorry.
