Not just theme song, but movie song/score.
My favs are mostly John Williams. The theme music from the Star Wars movies, Indiana Jones movies and especially the Superman movies. I also am a big fan of Live and let die by Paul McCartney for the Bond movie of the same name, and "I don't want to miss a thing" by Aerosmith from Armageddon.

If we start by assuming you mean a movie song with lyrics, rather than music score alone:

He holds more Academy Award Oscars than any other composer.And he is still writing.

I'm a huge John Williams fan. So I too like Star Wars and Indiana Jones, but I also like Memoirs of a Geisha and Shindler's List.

I think the music from the movie Munich was really haunting, and it really stuck with me. BUT as a Clarinet Player my favorite Score is from The Terminal... its just so awesome... and is really fun to play.... I will forever live with the Tale of Viktor Navorski stuck in my head. John Williams is great.
