I would say yes, because you would already have a good relationship that you could add to. You would know what they like and what they didn't.
I also taking for granted that the best friend is of the opposite gender the you are.
If they where your best friend to begin with, how could you muck it up?

there is a big difference between a friend and a lover. dont care if it is your best friend or not. the love for a spouse is totally different from the love of a friend. if you dont have that special chemistry and spark no i would not marry a best friend. i had a best friend that was the opposite sex and no i would not have married him because that special chemistry was not there. if i had of married him it wouldnt be quite right. once that special love has hit you you will understand what im talking about.

I would have to say no cause, if I marry my bestfriend, then her and I are going to have problems in a marrige like all marriges, so no cause that might make us go to a divorce, and hate each other and never talk again, and its not worth it cause u could never find really good friends like the ones u have.

If my friend and I really cared for each other and we knew eachother really well inside and out then yes I would. Otherwise I don't think it would be wise to marry someone you didn't know very well.
